The man behind the art
Patrick Lyngbirk, who goes by the name Pablo Bablo, born in 1993, in Denmark, is a self-taught artist living in Copenhagen. He uses his inner demons to express a lot of wildness in his art with a huge palette of different types of paintings. Patrick starts from the good and the bad in life to create stories about life itself. He creates his own universe with various characters in the form of his paintings.
The style is a mix of abstract modern art and graffiti, which Patrick also has a great love for. The graffiti culture is a great inspiration and a style that repeats itself in the pictures. Patrick Lyngbirk mixes everything from acrylic paint, oil sticks, pastel colors, spray cans and much more to give a unique expression in his pictures. The images have a consistent style, but appear very different and full of nuances when they are experienced up close, where they each tell their own story.
Fashion, music and culture are a large part of the inspiration and something that Patrick lives and breathes for every day. In his younger years, Patrick spent much of his time at school drawing various figures and eventually found an even greater love for drawing. Clothing was also an initial passion for a future career in the form of clothing drawings. But the love for art was always in the back of his mind and the will and passion became unstoppable...
